| | | | Former OMV Albania GM recruited to manage Manas Petroleum Albania operations | Manas Petroleum Corporation is pleased to announce that Mr. Malfor Nuri the former General Manager of OMV Albania has joined Manas Petroleum subsidiary DWM Petroleum AG as of June 1st.
Mr. Malfor Nuri, has an MSc in mechanical engineering and spent 13 years in various positions including General Manager, Albania working for OMV Aktiengesellschaft, Central Europe's leading oil and gas group. During his tenure with OMV Mr. Nuri managed several large onshore and offshore 2-D and 3-D seismic acquisition programs in adjacent blocks to DWM's blocks. He also was in charge or involved in the drilling of three deep wells in Albania where he managed permitting, logistics, licensing and construction. Prior to his assignments with OMV Mr Nuri worked for the Albanian "Ministry of Industry, Mineral Resources and Energy" where he liaised with international corporations and advised government ministers.
Manas is maturing its enormous resource potential by acquiring seismic prior to drilling.
